FINSTERWALDER Quick-Out

The FINSTERWALDER Quick-Out is suitable for safely attaching loads, especially persons, and is designed for outdoor use. Thanks to its intuitive operation and high level of safety, the Quick-Out has proven itself for many years both in air sports and in onshore and offshore air rescue, where it is used by mountain rescue services, fire brigades, police, SEKs and the military. It is used wherever a reliable connection and, if necessary, a quick disconnection, even under load, is required.

In paragliding, the Quick-Out is required to disconnect the main glider when using a steerable rescue parachute. In addition to the rescue options for water, tree and strong wind landings, it also offers handling advantages over conventional paragliding carabiners. Simultaneously pressing the two release buttons separates the pilot and aircraft effortlessly. Safety trainings have shown that detaching the paraglider after the emergency parachute has deployed is advantageous.

There is no specific CE standard for separation carabiners. However, the Quick-Out is a central component of various certified special harnesses that are widely used nationally and internationally.
