With the Paralock open, the locking pin generally cannot be moved. However, with the Blue Disc mounted, this safety feature can be overcome and damaged by force. The release blocking mechanism can also be activated and deactivated accidentally. When using the Blue Disc, it is therefore particularly important to check that the release lever is properly locked and the release blocking mechanism is activated before take-off.
